Duties and Responsibilities:
The portfolio manager will manage investments portfolio on behalf of the firm.
The manager will identify identifying new investment opportunities, execute transactions and actively manage portfolio projects for the firm.
Conduct market research and analyze investment opportunities across various asset classes.
Have a good understanding of financial markets, financial market calculations, and current economic conditions and utilize advanced research tools for investment recommendations and presentation to the investment committee.
Preparing and maintaining investment reports for management, monitoring investments and portfolio performance.
In consultation with the CIO, make strategic recommendations to achieve maximum performance within appropriate risk parameters and approved portfolio metrics.
Drive and grow client investments and assets. Prospect, acquire, and manage the portfolio of clients’ investments(sustain and grow a portfolio of clients of HNI and qualified investors by building long-term relationships).
Maintain compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
Build and maintain relationships with investors, fund managers, and financial institutions.
Provide clients with investment recommendations working with the Chief investment officer managing maturities and reinvestments
Identify business and investment opportunities and secure investment mandates for the organization.
Perform risk assessments and due diligence on potential investments.
Evaluate economic trends and provide forecasts to guide investment decisions.
Sound knowledge of financial market Conduct due diligence on prospects/clients, as well as both investors and investment targets.
Analyze and make investment recommendations and carry out portfolio allocations.
Requirement
Graduation from an accredited university or college with a bachelor’s degree with evidence of professional training in capital markets, investment theory, securities analysis, and portfolio analytic techniques.
Three years experience in investment analysis and/or operations with a licensed financial services provider or equivalent institutional investment organization
A master’s degree in business administration and/ or Chartered Institute of stockbrokers (CIS) designation is highly desirable
Excellent and demonstrated written, presentation, and business level communications skills in English.
