Role Description
This is an on-site, full-time role for a Phonics Teacher, located in Ibadan.
The Phonics Teacher will be responsible for developing and implementing lesson plans, teaching phonics to students in Early Years and Primary classes, and creating an engaging and supportive learning environment.
Daily tasks include conducting assessments, tracking student progress, and communicating with parents and guardians about their child’s development.
The role also involves collaborating with other teachers and staff to ensure consistency and quality in educational practices.
Qualifications
Lesson Planning and Education skills
Excellent Communication and Teaching skills
Training and Development experience
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to create an engaging and supportive learning environment
Experience in teaching phonics in Early Years and Primary classes
Bachelor’s degree in English Education or a closely related field
Previous experience working in an international school setting is a plus
