Location: Owerri, Imo, Nigeria Job Summary
Perform testing, maintenance and repair of telecommunication/electronic products and accessories.
Key Responsibilities
Perform trouble shooting to identify root cause of faults for all OEM devices.
Repair faults identified on customer’s devices/accessories for all OEM devices.
Log fault information/details as appropriate.
Perform software upgrades of devices.
Escalate complex repairs/faults to the appropriate parties.
Perform quality checks on products and accessories before returning to customers.
Observe safety precautions in systems maintenance and repairs.
Understand and administer warranty programs of OEMs.
Knowledge/Skills/Ability
Troubleshooting and fixing of all popular OEM products; Nokia, Samsung, Blackberry, LG, HTC, Motorola, Apple, Sony etc.
Advanced knowledge of CDMA, GSM and other relevant phone technologies.
Appreciation and working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.
Basic appreciation of relevant measuring instruments.
Problem solving and trouble shooting skills.Customer focus disposition.C
Communication and interpersonal skills.
Time management and organization skills.
Ability to maintain poise under pressure.

Requirements Education and Experience:
A first Degree or Diploma in any Technical/Engineering or related discipline.
3 years’ experience in the electronic equipment/technical function of a telecoms company.
Proficiency in MS Office applications.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variable in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret the most complex documents.
