Responsibilities:
Prescription Processing:
Review and accurately process prescriptions.
Medication Verification:
Verify medication orders for accuracy and appropriateness.
Check for drug interactions and ensure proper labelling.
Inventory Management:
Monitor and manage medication inventory levels.
Perform stock checks and reconcile discrepancies.
Customer Service:
Provide medication counselling and address patient inquiries.
Ensure high-quality customer service.
Regulatory Compliance:
Maintain compliance with all pharmacy regulations.
Keep accurate records of prescriptions and inventory.
Team Collaboration:
Work with fulfilment officers and support staff to optimize operations.
Train new staff in procedures and best practices.
Requirements:
Pharmaceutical Knowledge: Strong understanding of medications and pharmacology.
Attention to Detail: High accuracy in processing prescriptions.
Technical Skills: Proficiency with pharmacy software and EHR systems.
Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication.
Customer Service Orientation: Commitment to patient care and confidentiality.
Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of pharmacy laws and compliance.
Qualification:
B.Pharm or Pharm. D (with 1-3 years of community experience)
