We are seeking a People Operations Manager as a key figure in the HR department who will play a crucial role in shaping the workforce strategy of our organization. You will be tasked with developing policies, programs, and practices that promote a high-performance culture, employee engagement, and organizational effectiveness.
This role involves a blend of strategic planning and hands-on management to ensure the alignment of HR functions with business objectives, fostering a supportive and productive workplace.
You would work closely with senior leadership to develop HR strategies that support the organization’s goals, focusing on talent management, succession planning, and workforce development.

Functions

Execute Quality Assurance Operations

Design, implement, and monitor quality assurance programs to ensure operational excellence.
Conduct regular audits of HR and organizational processes, identifying areas for improvement and recommending solutions – such as SOPs, trainings among others.
Develop and enforce standards to enhance employee experience, retention, and organizational efficiency.
Leverage people analytics to measure the impact of initiatives and drive continuous improvement.
Review team SOP implementation to ensure timely and efficient execution.

Project Oversight:

Provide leadership and oversight for cross-functional projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Manage timelines, resources, and deliverables to ensure successful project execution
Facilitate collaboration among departments, ensuring clear communication and accountability.
Track and report on project progress to senior leadership.

Human Resource Management:

Assist the HR with the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, training, performance management, and offboarding.
Develop and implement HR strategies that foster a high-performance and inclusive workplace culture.
Manage employee relations, benefits, and rewards programs to ensure employee satisfaction and compliance.
Ensure alignment of HR practices with employment laws and organizational policies.
Support workforce planning, talent acquisition, succession planning, and workforce development initiatives.

Requirements

3+ years of administrative experience in an HR department
Understanding of general HR policies and procedures
Knowledge of Nigeria employment law
Implemented successful reward/benefits/progression/L&D systems/programs
Strong emotional intelligence (EQ) and understanding of people
Experience in handling complex employee relations issues
Skilled in implementing and managing people systems
Excellent communication and people skills
BSc in HR or a relevant field
