Pastry Chef

Description

Repare raw donuts for frying and raw bread for baking.
Prepare artisan pastries, bagels, muffins and cookies daily.
Bake various bread varieties and fry and prepare various varieties of donuts using prescribed recipes.
Make fresh pastries every morning including; Meat pies, fresh rolls, burgers, scotched eggsetc.
Assist customers with various requests and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through utilization of communication and personal interaction skills.
Understand proper use of ovens, mixers, scales, and rotating product in walk-in/freezer using FIFO methods.
Help set up a par list for inventory that way less products are wasted and used FIFO method to ensure that.
Complete daily production records on raw and finished products
Ensure daily task is achieved and delivered.
Keep all tools clean and safe
Teach and train the other cooking staff.
Any other duties assigned by the management.

Qualifications

Interested candidates should possess an OND qualification with 3-5 years experience.
