Location: Lekki Lagos
General Responsibilities: This position exists to ensure (1) product delivery schedule at depots and timely deliveries to customers and vendors with no stock loss; (2) timely collection and filing of signed waybills from truck drivers as evidence of products delivered; (3) management of stock with vendors and periodical reconciliation of products lifted and products received by customers
Activities:
Visit Depot to ascertain product situation and product schedule based on customers request.
Dispatch trucks loaded with products to customers/vendors timely with all necessary documents based on request
Ensure that safe to load checks are carried out on every truck before loading products and that loading trucks comply with safety and other regulatory requirements
Collate duly signed returned waybills from truck drivers and customers’ evidence of receipt of products, and collaborate with accounts to ensure timely invoicing of products
Prepare reconciliation statement of products sent to customers/vendors and products received by them, noting quantity variance, daily, weekly and monthly
Prepare accurate reports of activities of all trucks movements and deliveries to customers/vendors noting product loss quantities
Ensure that all policies aimed at operations improvement and target realization are observed.
Prepare reconciliation statement of product receipts/purchased and issues/sold in quantity periodically
Month end checks, stock taking from various customers /vendors
Ensure effective commutation and coordination among staff on field /drivers /engineers
Ensure stocks management at the states/ with vendors
Ensure proper distribution of product based on customers’ request
Follow up with drivers/ field staff/engineers for smooth delivery of products to customers
Maintain good filing system for all loading and receiving documents, including waybills and reports for ease of access and reconciliation
Any other job which may be assigned by management
Accountabilities:
Weekly report of liftings and deliveries to customers
Updated records and file of waybills signed by customers/drivers
Monthly reconciliation statement of products receipts and issues
Summary of products supplied and invoiced to customers
Updated truck movement register
Updated file of customers’ signed waybills
Stock taking reports
Context: The job requires a good understanding of Tanker drivers logistic issues, and optimization of trucks. Good relationship with Tanker drivers’ union to reduce conflict and minimize loss when lifting products.
Qualifications/Experience/Skills
Qualifications:
Minimum National Diploma/First Degree or its equivalent in any discipline
Experience:
2 years’ operations or logistics experience in an oil marketing company. Product depot experience working with transporters will be an advantage
Skills:
Excellent prioritization competency
Ability to work with others as a team
Knowledge of white products retail market in Nigeria

Up-to-date knowledge of petroleum products regulatory requirements

Remuneration:
N60,000
