Operations Lead

Summary

The team is looking for an individual with a strong background in FinTech, Business Operations, and/or experience in a startup environment. In this role, you’ll be working alongside the Managing Partner.
This role is essential for driving organizational efficiency, supporting governance, and maintaining operational integrity.

Responsibilities

Assist the Managing Partner in managing daily business operations to ensure efficiency and alignment with organizational goals.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate the seamless execution of business processes.
Monitor and evaluate key operational metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
Develop and maintain operational workflows, policies, and procedures to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Serve as the point of contact for operational issues, ensuring timely resolution in accordance with company standards.
Oversee project coordination and initiatives, ensuring objectives are met within set timelines.
Conduct regular reviews of business policies and processes to ensure alignment with industry’s best practices and regulatory standards.
Ensuring Regulatory Compliance
Monitor changes in regulatory policies and ensure timely updates and adherence to new requirements in collaboration with relevant team.
Reporting and Strategic Planning Support
Support the Country Manager in developing and executing strategic plans for market expansion, business growth, and operational excellence.
Analyze trends and data to provide actionable insights that support strategic decision-making.
Contribute to the preparation of presentations, proposals, and business cases for stakeholders and regulators.
Analyze financial data to identify areas for cost reduction and profit improvement.
Identify new business opportunities and develop plans to expand the company’s market presence.
Collaborate with department heads to set performance goals and monitor progress.
Build and maintain relationships with clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
Lead and mentor staff to improve productivity, engagement, and overall performance.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insights to drive continuous improvement.
Negotiate contracts with vendors, suppliers, and business partners to ensure favorable terms.
Manage and resolve any operational challenges that may arise.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Law, or a related field.
3-5 years of experience in business operations, compliance, or risk management within a regulated industry
Experience in the Fintech Sector will be a huge advantage
Master’s degree or professional certification in Compliance, or Risk Management is an advantage.
Proficiency in English, both in speaking and writing.
Strong organizational and project management skills.
Good analytical skills, ability to collaborate effectively, and team spirit.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
