Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure cleanliness of surroundings and sterilization/sanitation of kitchen prep area and food trays.
Mopping and sweeping the kitchen areas as required.
Removing garbage, replacing garbage bags, and washing garbage cans.
Clean floors, dishes, burners, and pots.
Prepare for opening the next morning by cleaning and shutting down fryers and broilers.
Work well with other employees on the cleanliness of areas assigned a variety of services property policies and procedures-oversee own responsibilities
Remove wash dishware, flatware, and glassware from the dishwasher and stack them according to size and likeness for future use.
Sanitize heavy equipment including dishwasher, mixer, and slicer.
Responsible for floor care, performing various surface tasks, including vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, and spot-cleaning carpets in all office areas.
Responsible for the maintenance of tables, chairs, and counters, carrying out tasks such as dusting, spraying, and cleaning
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements, Skills & Qualifications
High School Diploma / NCE / OND, or its equivalent.
0-3 years proven experience assisting in kitchens.
A food handler’s license Is an Added Advantage
Sound knowledge of food health and safety regulations.
The ability to stand for extended periods.
The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
The ability to work in a team.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Effective communication skills.
Ready to work 6 days a week.
Proximity to Victoria Island is preferred.
