Job Summary

The Brand and CommunicationsIntern will assist our Brand and Communications team in implementing communication strategies, building brand awareness, and engaging with our target audience.
This internship provides hands-on experience in public relations, media relations, and outreach efforts.

Roles and Responsibilities
Media Monitoring:

Monitor news articles, blogs, and social media for mentions related to our organization.
Compile daily, weekly, and monthly media monitoring reports.

Content Creation:

Assist in drafting periodic press releases, blog posts, and social media content.
Help create multimedia materials such as images and videos for PR campaigns.

Media Relations:

Build and maintain media contact databases.
Assist in pitching stories and press releases to journalists and media outlets.
Coordinate media interviews and press conferences as needed.

Outreach and Partnerships:

Identify potential partners, influencers, and stakeholders for collaboration.
Assist in outreach efforts to establish and maintain partnerships.
Track and document partnership initiatives and outcomes.

Event Support:

Provide support in planning and executing PR events, product launches, and promotional activities.
Assist in coordinating logistics, invitations, and media coverage for events.

Analytics and Reporting:

Help track and analyze PR and outreach metrics.
Prepare reports on the effectiveness of PR campaigns and outreach initiatives

Research and Trends:

Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging PR best practices.
Conduct research on target demographics and audiences.

Administrative Support:

Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, maintaining PR databases, and managing email correspondence.

Professional Development:

Proactively seek opportunities for professional growth and learning in the field of PR and outreach.

Qualifications

Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Familiarity with social media platforms and PR tools.
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
Basic knowledge of media relations and outreach strategies is a plus.
