Job Description
Job Purpose:
Process high quality products to company standards and supply product for production. Pasteurizes and homogenizes all milk products at required butterfat content and to correct quantities needed. Pasteurizes milk, tomatoes, juice and other by-products. Job Responsibilities: • Operate and CIP the milk and juice HTST’s. • Verify product is up to company standards before pasteurizing. • Maintain the correct butterfat and cream percent. • Properly clean and sanitizes all pasteurization equipment. • Cross-trained in the duties of the Blender/Drink Maker position. • Rebuild pumps and valves on a timely basis. • Ability to blend drinks and juices as required. • Know the properties of the cleaning chemicals used. • Perform other duties assigned by supervisor or superintendent. • Report quality or safety problems to Supervisor or Quality Manager
