Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly skillful and experienced Mid-Senior Accountant to manage key financial operations, ensure compliance, and provide insightful financial reporting. This role is critical to maintaining the financial health and regulatory standing of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and reports
Conduct financial forecasting and variance analysis to support decision-making
Ensure regulatory compliance and handle external/internal audits
Manage tax filings, reconciliations, and reporting requirements
Utilize accounting software and MS Excel to maintain accurate financial records
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive financial strategies
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent Academic Qualifications in fields like: Accounting, Finance, Banking and other related discipline.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in the Microfinance Banking sector
Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and financial analysis
Experience in auditing and regulatory compliance
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
Strong analytical skills and keen attention to detail
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment
ICAN certification , or CPA, ACCA, and other relevant certification is a plus.
