Main Responsibilities:
Assesses the affected communities in the northeast. identifies needs for psychosocial support and
develop a program to response to those needs
Develops activities for psychosocial support program, implement them and provide accurate reports
Conducts extensive field activities to implement and monitor the program
Identifies key community actors who will receive intensive trainings and coaching in basic psychological support
Develops training program and trains persons involved in MHPSS activities
Required Qualifications:
University degree in Medical field (Medical doctor. Psychologist)
Public health training and extensive experience in mental health and psychosocial programs
2-3 years working experience within health structures in Nigeria
Excellent communication and group facilitation skills
Previous working experience with an International Medical Organization will be an asset
Fluent in Hausa, Kanuri and very good command in written and spoken English
Excellent knowledge of Nigerian health system
Excellent analytical and communication skills
Able to use Microsoft office efficiently
Team leadership skills, with interest in teaching and facilitation of the learning process

Ability to work independently and with a sense of initiative
Strong sense of responsibility and adaptability, able to work over time when needed
