Job Summary
We are seeking to hire a Mechanical Engineer with expertise in mechanical design, servicing, and consulting.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, analysis, and maintenance of mechanical systems in oil and gas operations, ensuring efficiency, reliability, and compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop mechanical systems for oil and gas servicing operations.
Conduct engineering analysis, simulations, and feasibility studies.
Oversee installation, commissioning, and maintenance of mechanical equipment, including pumps, compressors, pipelines, and pressure vessels.
Ensure compliance with API, ASME, ISO, and other industry standards.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop cost-effective solutions.
Perform failure analysis and root cause investigations.
Provide technical support for procurement and vendor selection.
Participate in site visits, inspections, and risk assessments.
Requirements
B.Sc Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
5+ years of experience in oil and gas servicing, consulting, or mechanical design.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, ANSYS, or similar design tools.
Strong knowledge of piping systems, rotating equipment, and structural mechanics.
Familiarity with API, ASME, ANSI, and ISO standards.
Experience in Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
COREN, PMP, or ASME certifications.
Hands-on experience in offshore/onshore projects within oil and gas.
Knowledge of industry-specific software for mechanical system design.
