Job Description
This position requires a License for operation of various pieces of equipment. Gravel truck, loader, backhoe, grader, and other assigned equipment or vehicles.
This is a skilled position consisting of equipment operation, manual labor and maintenance repair of various pieces of light and heavy motorized equipment used in construction, maintenance, and other generalized work.
Employee of this class must be able to correctly diagnose and make repairs on a variety of equipment. Employee must have the ability to operate the various pieces of equipment when required to assist various construction and maintenance projects.
At various times, upon direction of, this position will include manual labor functions.
Job Requirements
Must have good technical knowledge of construction industry technology: diagnostic, overhaul, adjustment, repair and maintenance of vehicles, light and heavy machinery/equipment for Construction Industry.
Must be knowledgeable in codes, technical data, cataloging of tools and equipment for the purpose of placing orders/inspections.
Must maintain service and repair records, purchases and inventories equipment parts, respond to routine and emergency calls for repairs and service.
Must ensure compliance with all legal safety regulations.
Must be able to communicate in English.
