Marketing Manager

As our Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing impactful marketing strategies to ensure the success of our film launches. This includes creating innovative campaigns, collaborating with internal teams, talent, and external agencies, and overseeing promotional and advertising efforts to maximize audience engagement and box office performance.
The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in marketing, with a focus on creative and strategic thinking; a passion for film marketing and a proven track record of success in marketing roles, including at least 3 years of hands-on experience in the field; and strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your key responsibilities will be to:

Develop and execute marketing strategies for the release of films, from concept through to post-launch.
Coordinate with creative teams to produce marketing materials, including trailers, posters, social assets, and press kits.
Conduct market research to understand target audience demographics and refine marketing strategies.
Create and manage digital marketing campaigns across social media, email, and media channels.
Oversee the preparation of marketing budgets and ensure campaigns stay within financial limits.
Work with external PR agencies and internal teams to generate media coverage and build buzz around film releases.
Develop partnerships with key brands, and organizations to expand film reach.
Monitor campaign performance and provide regular reports on ROI, making recommendations for optimization.
Stay current on industry trends to adjust strategies accordingly.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Our ideal candidate is expected to possess the following qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree/Higher National Diploma in Marketing, Sales, Business Administration, Mass Communication, or any related field;
At least 3-5 years of experience in marketing roles, preferably in film or entertainment industry;
Strong understanding of digital communications and media relations;
Professional qualifications, certifications and memberships are an added advantage;
Must reside in Lagos;
Must have completed NYSC;

SKILLS:

Solid understanding of different marketing techniques;
Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
Proficiency in the use of Google Workspace;
Excellent knowledge of marketing computer software and online applications
Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong attention to detail and project management skills.
Excellent research and business development skills;
Excellent time management and organization skills;
Ability to work with minimal or zero supervision.
Passion for film and entertainment, with an understanding of global trends
