Ensuring short, medium to long term portfolio strategy.
Maintenance of brand equity in all initiatives. Develop the Annual Brand Plan in line with the Start Plan process.
Develop all aspects of the marketing mix through the understanding of the consumer & market trends dynamic.
Manage brand as a business person in terms of drivers, opportunities.
Use the Financial insights to make principle based strategic decisions which benefit the business.
Align the strategy with all key stakeholders.
Guardian of the integrity of the brand/trademark. Develop and maintain competitor intelligence.
Delivering results by establishing and driving brand performance (volume, share, key brands metrics and profit objectives).
Anticipate situations and develop approaches that maximise the business opportunities.
Integrate all marketing efforts (advertising, promotions, experiential, marketing assets…) within a consistent overall brand plan.
Define (and keep a high level of tracking and control), of the marketing budget requirements and proper allocation across the Marketing mix elements.
Ensure advertising executions meet agreed success criteria.
Provide support to the regions in planning & implementation. Track and analyses the brand performance and initiatives.
Marketing Team capability building and development.
Conduct audit against agreed role descriptions and competencies.
Build skills within the brand team in all areas of the Marketing Mix.

Expectations

B.Sc qualification in Marketing or other related fields
Minimum 8-10 years Marketing experience in FMCG environment with minimum 3 years in Marketing Manager position
Innovation management including know-how process, stakeholders management, project end-to-end leadership, marketing plan development, execution and follow-up
Strategy thinking of marketing mix to support the business growth ambition (tactical, medium and long term)
Sharp level of business analysis
Agencies management (media, BTL, knowledge and insights)
A strong communicator, both verbally and in written form
The suitable candidate will also demonstrate exceptionally good analytical skills and an ability to translate raw information into actionable strategies and initiatives
He must also work comfortably with business executives and leadership
Ability to multi-task and meet aggressive deadlines and demonstrate an ability to stay calm under pressure
Proficiency in the use of Ms Word, Ms Excel, and PowerPoint
Must be a people person who also has the ability to lead, inspire, and motivate a team into consistent performance improvement
