LPG Sales Manager

Job Overview:

The LPG Sales Manager is responsible for developing and implementing effective sales strategies to drive the growth of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) sales.
This includes managing customer relationships, identifying new market opportunities, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
The role requires a strong focus on achieving revenue targets, expanding market share, and delivering exceptional customer service in the highly competitive LPG market.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue and profitability targets.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including industrial, commercial, and domestic LPG consumers.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and stakeholders.
Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive activities.
Manage existing customer accounts, ensuring retention and satisfaction through regular engagement and support.
Negotiate and finalize contracts with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial terms.
Address and resolve customer complaints or concerns promptly and effectively.
Collaborate with supply chain and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of LPG to customers.
Monitor stock levels, sales forecasts, and demand trends to optimize inventory and distribution.
Provide input on pricing strategies to remain competitive while maintaining profitability.
Ensure all sales and delivery activities comply with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
Educate clients on LPG safety practices and guidelines.
Lead and mentor the sales team to achieve performance targets and professional growth.
Prepare and present regular sales reports to management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and market insights.
Set performance metrics for the sales team and regularly evaluate progress.

Qualification, Skills, and Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. An MBA is an advantage.
Minimum of 7–10 years of sales experience, with at least 3 years in the LPG or oil and gas sector.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing client relationships.
Strong knowledge of the LPG market, distribution channels, and industry trends.
Familiarity with regulatory and safety requirements for LPG operations.
