This position ensures the efficient receipt, storage, management, and distribution of engineering materials, raw components, and packaging supplies to support production objectives.

Responsibilities

Maintain the current warehouse layout and space utilization while ensuring efficient organization and management of inventory. Develop and update the work organization chart as needed, and adhere to all applicable standard operating procedures (SOPs) to support warehouse operations.

Responsible for overseeing stock management activities, including confidently receiving, storing, retrieving, and promptly delivering goods, as well as facilitating transfers and maintaining accurate documentation and data entry within the system.

Overseeing the entire store operations, this role involves meticulous planning, strategic organization, and rigorous control of all operational activities. Additionally, the position requires seamless coordination with all relevant user departments to ensure end-to-end process alignment and efficiency.

Implement necessary safeguards and protocols to guarantee seamless unloading of raw materials into the Raw Materials Store.

Coordinate automated and computerized systems within the department while handling customer communication through email, fax, and telephone as required.

Maintain material availability by implementing a First-In-First-Out (FIFO) inventory rotation system, thereby preventing obsolescence, expiration, and the unnecessary depletion of company assets.

Maintain a current register and ensure accurate tracking of materials categorized as either returnable or non-returnable.

Ensure complete visibility on shelves and adherence to rack standards through adherence to good manufacturing practices.

Promptly document all received materials and items by preparing SRVs and forwarding them, along with the suppliers’ invoices, to Finance as required.

Inventory is reconciled in accordance with established policies and procedures. Receipts lacking linked local purchase orders (Los) are documented, while reports on obsolete materials, dead stock, consumption, OVP deliveries, and material expiry are generated systematically.

Qualifications

A bachelor’s degree or higher national diploma (HND) in logistics, business administration, supply chain management, or a related field is required.

The ideal candidate is required to:

Possesses a comprehensive understanding of Warehouse and Distribution operations, including best practices in logistics, inventory control, and supply chain management.

A strong ability to communicate clearly and effectively—both verbally and in writing—is essential.

A qualified female candidate is required to maintain gender balance within the organization.
