Job Description (Summary):
As the Logistics Officer, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end logistics process, including the importation, storage, and distribution of goods. You will ensure accurate inventory management, warehouse security, and on-time delivery of products to customers while maintaining high standards of record-keeping and documentation.
Shipment and Customs Clearance:
Coordinate the importation and customs clearance of goods, including preparing PI, purchasing insurance, applying for FORM M, PAAR, and liaising with freight forwarders.
Monitor customs clearance progress and ensure goods are unloaded and transported from ports to warehouses efficiently.
Warehouse and Inventory Management:
Manage warehouse operations, including inbound, outbound, and inventory counting.
Ensure alignment between physical inventory and financial data.
Implement security measures and insurance for warehouse operations to safeguard goods.
Order Fulfillment and Logistics:
Oversee the delivery of goods to customers and monitor logistics progress until orders are signed off by customers.
Document Management:
Maintain accurate records and safekeeping of customs clearance, inventory, and delivery-related documents.
System Utilization:
Use warehouse management systems (WMS, SAP, etc.) to streamline logistics and inventory processes.

Required Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in logistics, warehousing, or supply chain management.
Understanding of water meter solutions.
Strong organizational and sales skills.
Proficient in preparing and delivering independent presentations.
Budget: NGN 200,000 – NGN 400,000 Monthly (Negotiable)
