Job Summary
The Logistics Officer is responsible for sourcing reliable interstate trucks, coordinating the transportation of goods, and ensuring timely deliveries.
This role involves managing transport providers, optimizing routes, and resolving any logistics issues to support smooth operations.
Responsibilities
Source and negotiate with interstate truck providers.
Coordinate and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery.
Maintain relationships with transport vendors and drivers.
Ensure compliance with transportation regulations.
Resolve delays, damages, or other logistical issues.
Qualifications / Experience
Proven experience in logistics or transportation management.
Strong negotiation and organizational skills.
Knowledge of interstate trucking and logistics regulations.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Salary
N200,000 – 250,000 / month.
