Logistics Assistant Roving IT Officer

Location: Dikwa, Borno Job Description

Assist in managing daily transport movement of staff and movement tracking
Assist the Logistics Officer in distributing RFQs and POs and collection of quotation.
Assist the Logistics Officer in following up with Vendors, Suppliers and Contractors.
Manage stationery store and Programme supplies Warehouse and update all records as may be required (BIN Card, Stock Card, Stock Issue form, Waybills, Dispatch Notes) etc.
Assist with logistics filing system and procurement documentations
Such other duties, properly assigned, as may be occasioned by the exigencies of the service.
Manage the warehouse/ store for procured supplies and GIK’s.
Make sure the warehouse /store have IMC and donor policy in terms of good storage policy and standard.
Make sure program supplies are received based on the PO, verified count and received the items based on the quantity stated on the PO.
Issue GRN for the quantity received.
Register the Received quantity on Bin card, stock Card and electronic stock update on daily bases.
Make sure program staffs are present during the receiving of supplies to do quality check and signed on GRN and QC document depending on the threshold.
Issue supplies when received approved GIO from the owner of the stock. Issue waybills for all outgoing stock, and ensure to document the approved waybills.
Update the stock report on daily bases and submit weekly/ monthly report segregated per grant to your line manager.
Assist the Nutrition Coordinator in any field logistics Issue when delegated.

Qualifications and Experience

Degree (B.Sc. or HND) in Social Sciences, Humanities, Science, etc.
Certificate or Diploma in Procurement/Supply Chain Management/Logistics or related field with at least 2 years of general logistics experience
Not less than 1 year experience post NYSC or exemption experience.
High computer literacy level with expected proficiency in Word, Excel, PDF, and Internet.
Ability to work independently, take personal initiative, and multi-task including strong facilitation skills in an ever-changing dynamic operational environment
Excellent written and spoken English language skills.
Strong administrative and organizational skills.
Ability to coach others and work in a team environment with experience in conducting training.
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in an operational environment.
Experience in negotiating service agreements with vendors and suppliers.
The capability and willingness to be flexible and accommodating in sometimes difficult and frustrating work situations.
Commitment to and understanding of IMC’s aims, values and principles.
Be flexible and manage your time accordingly, to be prepared to tackle other tasks commensurate with your role, and level of experience, at short notice.

Language Skills:

Ability to read, write, analyse and interpret, technical and non-technical in the English language.
Ability to present information and respond appropriately to questions.
Ability to speak English and Hausa
