Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly motivated individual with vast knowledge of Commercial law and litigation experience to join us as a Senior Associate. The ideal Candidate will be able to handle complex corporate, commercial and litigation briefs efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle complex litigation cases at the State and Federal High Courts, Court of Appeal, and the Supreme Court.
Prepare briefs and other legal documents.
Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts, including but not limited to service agreements, shareholders’ agreements, joint venture agreements, share sale and purchase agreements, loan agreements, and other types of commercial agreements.
Provide expertise in Technology law, Banking law, Property law and corporate restructuring to mention a few.
Qualifications and Experience:
At least 7 years of active post call experience in litigation, alternative dispute resolution and commercial law practice
Relevant postgraduate qualifications will be an added advantage.
Excellent drafting skills and command of the English language.
Strong experience in handling commercial transactions and writing opinions.
Excellent research skills, thoroughness, and diligence.
Ability to work effectively in a team.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to meet deadlines.
Must be able to work without supervision.
