What You’ll Do:
As a Legal Officer, you will be responsible for:
Providing high-quality, accurate, and timely legal advice to the management team.
Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts and tenders with clients.
Offering legal support for day-to-day operations, including advice on employment law, dispute resolution, corporate governance, and industry regulations.
Managing litigation and arbitration processes, liaising with external legal counsel and the company secretary.
Advising on legal matters involving agents, distributors, and joint venture partners.
Adhering to a strict code of professional ethics while ensuring compliance with Nigerian laws and regulations.
What We’re Looking For:
To be successful in this role, you will:
Hold a bachelor’s degree in law (LLB), with specialization or experience in the oil and gas sector considered a significant advantage.
Demonstrate advanced expertise in contract management and corporate commercial law, including proficiency in negotiations and handling a broad range of legal matters.
Possess outstanding legal drafting abilities, marked by a high level of precision and attention to detail.
Exhibit excellent interpersonal and communication skills, coupled with the capacity to work autonomously and deliver results effectively.
