Key Responsibilities:
Provide legal advice and guidance to the organization on various legal matters, including contracts, regulations, and compliance.
Review, draft, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and legal documents to ensure they align with the company’s interests and legal requirements
Assist in managing and overseeing legal disputes, litigation, and other legal actions involving the company
Ensure the company’s compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
Conduct legal research to stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and legal trends affecting the organization
Maintain accurate and organized legal documentation, contracts, and records.
Identify and assess potential legal risks and provide strategies for mitigation Writing of letters to clients and behalf of clients.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LL.B.) from a reputable institution.
Qualified and licensed to practice law in Nigeria.
2-5 years in active litigation.
Preparing of court processes and court pleadings.
Strong knowledge of Nigerian laws, regulations, and legal procedures.
Excellent research, analytical, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently with less supervision of all cases assigned.
Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
High level of integrity and ethical conduct.
Excellent communication skills and ability to speak with good command of English language.
Must be a computerliterate and can write professional business letter with grammatical accuracy
