Overall Job Purpose:
Provide effective and beneficial training to upgrade staff skills and competence in order to increase staff commitment in meeting the organizations corporate strategies.
Develop staff along career plans in line with individual and corporate objectives.
Responsibilities include:
Work with Business Unit Heads, to develop training curriculum for all staff
Implement training needs analysis system incorporating corporate strategic objectives /workforce model and individual training needs
Instil a culture of continuous learning and professional growth
Develop an organization strategy for learning and development
Carry out analysis of career progression of each individual within the organization
Review career development of staff and ensure development and training programmes are supportive of individual career plans in the organization
Monitor implementation of salary administration policies and separation benefits and coordinate payroll administration
Develop and implement effective HR audit strategies as it relations to compensation and benefits
Oversee month end payroll reconciliations and ensure timely and accurate statutory remittances
Requirements:
Good University degree with a minimum of 2:2 or HND with a minimum of upper credit in any discipline
Additional HR qualification(s), Affiliate member of any HR professional body like CIPM, CIPD, SHRM or its equivalent is an advantage
3 years robust HR experience and exposure
Performance metrics include:
No of staff trained within the year
Training effective as indicated by measurement of improvement in skills, knowledge and attitude of staff
Statutory compliance
Internal customer satisfaction level with L&D interventions
Accuracy and timeliness of payroll reconciliations done monthly
Timeliness of stutory remittances
