The Lead Brand Manager serves as the department’s most senior creative and strategic authority within Content & Branding. You are responsible for shaping the perception, messaging, and expansion of every client brand under your purview. Additionally, you oversee creative direction, ensuring final approval on the visual, auditory, and experiential elements of all content prior to its release.
What you’ll do
Conduct all client onboarding sessions collaboratively with other heads of department, establishing the foundational tone and expectations from the outset of engagement.
Perform comprehensive brand audits for each new client, evaluating tone of voice, brand personality, target audience, messaging pillars, and visual identity.
Evaluate each brand’s requirements and align them with the most suitable team members, considering their expertise, availability, and competencies.
Ensure complete responsibility for the health and public image of each brand within your portfolio.
Responsibilities include providing creative direction for all content, contingent upon final approval from the Head of Department, prior to its publication.
Provide mentorship and leadership to Junior Brand Managers, evaluating their briefs and fostering their professional development.
Develop and sustain a robust comprehension of HARD Media’s branding principles, which emphasize that branding fundamentally shapes perception.
Employ AI tools purposefully to enhance research initiatives, brand evaluations, and strategic planning—leveraging them as accelerators rather than mere conveniences.
Partner with Content Strategists to guarantee that all written materials reflect the unique tone and style of each brand.
You will serve as the primary point of contact for clients, demonstrating professionalism and self-assurance in all interactions. It is essential that you can autonomously secure new business and foster long-term client relationships.
What we’re looking for
3+ years of experience in brand management, creative strategy, or brand consulting.
A robust portfolio showcasing brand projects spanning a minimum of three distinct industries is required.
Proven ability to shape and enhance brand perception through strategic content creation.
Skilled in utilizing AI-powered tools for research and strategic development, including platforms such as ChatGPT, Claude, and Perplexity.
You possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to craft clear, concise briefs that are consistently adhered to by your audience.
Client engagement involves maintaining clear, consistent, and professional interactions with clients to ensure their needs are understood and addressed. This includes responding promptly to inquiries, providing updates on project progress, and addressing any concerns or feedback in a timely manner.
