Role Information
The Laboratory Technicians will be responsible for carrying out various types of construction laboratory test including soil test, asphalt test, concrete test, field test etc. to meet up with applicable construction standards.
Responsibilities
A summary of role’s responsibility is as follows:
Preparation and maintaining of laboratory testing of concrete, soil, asphalt or aggregate.
Assist on secondary testing of soil, concrete and asphalt relating to permeability, strength and materials acceptance.
Recording samples according to applicable construction standards.
Compiling and inputting testing results.
Keeping the laboratory in compliance with accreditation standards.
Recording and maintaining equipment calibration and verification.
Any other assigned task(s).
Education & Experience
Degree / HND in Civil Engineering/Technology or Geosciences is required for Laboratory and Senior Laboratory Technicians.
2 – 5years relevant working experience in construction laboratory.
For Laboratory Technicians – Must have experience in soil test, asphalt test, concrete test, Field Test.
For Senior Laboratory Technicians – Must have experience in soil test, asphalt test, concrete test, Field Test and additionally must have experience computer
For Assistant Laboratory Technicians, must have Construction laboratory working experience.

Ability to run different kinds of laboratory test
Accuracy of results on test carried out.
