Janitors/Clearners

Reports to: Facilities Manager

Job Summary:

The Janitor will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of the company’s office space. This includes cleaning common areas, restrooms, and offices, as well as performing routine maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

Cleaning and Sanitation:

Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and mirrors.
Clean and disinfect common areas, such as break rooms, conference rooms, and lobbies.
Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors.
Empty trash cans and recycling bins.
Dust furniture and equipment.
Clean windows and glass surfaces.

Other Duties:

Follow safety procedures and wear appropriate protective equipment.
Comply with company policies and procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in janitorial or cleaning services preferred.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail.
Physical ability to lift and carry heavy objects.

Physical Demands:

Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and reaching.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Exposure to cleaning chemicals.
