The Inventory Officer will be responsible for overseeing the efficient and accurate management of the organization’s warehouse and store inventory. This includes maintaining precise records, monitoring stock levels, optimizing inventory strategies, and ensuring compliance with relevant policies and regulations. The Inventory Officer will play an important role in supporting the organization’s supply chain operations and contributing to overall business performance.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain accurate inventory records, including stock counts and audits.
Monitor stock levels to prevent overstocking or stockouts.
Coordinate with procurement and sales teams to forecast demand and plan stock replenishment.
Oversee inventory storage and organization to ensure easy accessibility and proper handling.
Develop and implement inventory control procedures.
Investigate and resolve discrepancies in inventory records.
Generate regular inventory reports for management.
Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in inventory management, retail or e-commerce experience will be an added advantage.
Proficiency in inventory management software.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
