Installation Manager

Description:Effective management of Installations across several States in Nigeria to ensure customer satisfaction

Effectively manage installation coordinators and installers’ schedules and movement plans
Conduct scheduled/unscheduled visits to customers to ensure installation best practices are implemented and customer satisfaction and experience are in-line with Company standards
Ensure installers get paid by the customer after installation process
Ensure proper and timely reporting from the installation coordinators on field activities
Schedule installations in a timely and cost-effective manner
Ensure best practice training of installation coordinators and installers
Ensure technical support staff and installers have all the required tools
Liaise with Field Service on technical issues on Field service activities

Provide field report on SPS activities to management

Obtain complete report from installers and installation representatives to aid effective report generation
Produce picture presentation of installation
Ensure proper record keeping of systems in customer location
Record keeping of SPS activities across several states
Check telemetry to ensure system is communicating

Work with Field Service department on hiring and training of installers across states

Sourcing of installers with clear and basic skills
Training of installers with technical specifications of the job
Training of installers on customer care policies and procedures
Certification of installers after assignment

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGEEducational Qualifications & Functional / Technical Skills

First degree in Social Sciences or Engineering
A Master’s degree in Management or on Solar/Renewable Energy Engineering would be an added advantage
Minimum of 7 years’ experience at middle management level Solar/Renewable Energy Engineering; 3 of which must be in leadership capacity
Customer service or process management experience (not less than 2 years)
Understanding of the principles of CRM and Customer Management
Understanding of the principles of Business Intelligence and Reporting
Good interpersonal and relationship building skills

Relevant Experience

Understand the basic principles of Installation and the techniques
Understand Solar Systems and Product Development principles
Engineering Project Management
Proven record of achieving business success and relationship management
Good oral and written communication skills; Report writing, Presentation
Experience in Delighting Customers / Clients
People management skills and territorial knowledge of Nigerian States

Ability to travel in the course of work requirements
Team player; good with people – calm, good at building relationships
Analytical minded
Task oriented and with less supervision
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Tools
Valid driver’s license
