Information Management Volunteers

Duties

Collect data on EORE sessions, including participant attendance, demographics, and locations.
Document the number and type of materials distributed (e.g., posters, leaflets).
Record feedback from beneficiaries and community members during sessions.
Compile and submit weekly or monthly reports summarizing EORE activities.
Ensure accurate and detailed documentation of incidents or updates related to explosive ordnances in the communities.
Maintain a database of trained individuals and indirect beneficiaries.
Verify data accuracy by cross-checking reports with field teams.
Track locations of reported explosive ordnance incidents and update the project team for follow-up actions.
Monitor the reach and effectiveness of awareness materials (posters, leaflets, etc.).
Work closely with EORE facilitators and community volunteers to ensure accurate reporting of activities.
Share feedback and observations from the field to inform project adaptations.

Language requirements 

Proficiency in English, Kanuri, Shuwa, Gwoza or/and Hausa Language.

Key requirements

The following are required skills and experience:

A degree, HND, ND from a recognized institution in fields of education, psychology or other relevant field
Proficiency in using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and knowledge of data collection apps (e.g., KoboToolbox, ODK).
Basic understanding of data entry, record-keeping, and filing systems.
Ability to communicate clearly with both field teams and community members.
Willingness to work in remote or challenging environments.
Ability to identify issues in data collection or reporting and suggest solutions.

Experience 

1 – 3 years
Experience in data collection and working in the local communities.
Familiarity with humanitarian or development projects
