Organizational ContextImmediate Supervisor:   Director Our Client is a Key player in the Health Care Sector Job PurposeThe ICT Manager is a key member of the executive team whose primary role is to be accountable and further develop, manage and provide strategic direction to the Facility’s ICT Department. He/she must ensure that the ICT Department provides a high level of support and services and delivers according to the Facility’s requirements, expectations and are aligned with the overall strategy.Roles Reporting to this RoleAll ICT staff within the FacilityCore Functional Responsibilities

Plans, organizes and directs the overall operation and function of the ICT Department.
Provides leadership, and evaluation of the activities of the IT Department,
Participates in the development of strategic goals, objectives and plans for the Facility and IT. Provides leadership in executing these plans.
Provides leadership in defining the process and service levels to be delivered. Ensures that service levels are adequate and meets the Facility and end-user needs. To this end, systematically gathers and registers end-user satisfaction at every service encounter, constantly setting quality of service targets and implementing service improvement measures.
Participates in capital operating budget preparation and demand management related to all ICT requests received.
Ensures that the ICT Department maintains the infrastructure, network, key applications, desktop support, business continuity and proper disaster recovery procedures.
Manages and monitors the installation of new software and hardware.
Manages and monitors the computer and peripheral preventative maintenance program.
Drive and monitor performance management process for the ICT Staff.
Ensures the maintenance of standards in Quality and Safety in the Department.
Participates in applicable education and meetings in order to support end users need.
Participates in the assessment of learning needs and provides opportunities for development of IT Staff
Implements organizational structure which promotes shared accountability, high achievement and compliance with applicable laws and regulations; this to include electronic linkages and care delivery tools.

Minimum Educational Requirements:           Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or related field (Master’s degree preferred)Experience:

Minimum 5 years’ experience, to include experience in a leadership role.
Healthcare industry experience strongly preferred,
Demonstrated knowledge in delivering quality results, client satisfaction and operational efficiencies and excellence
