Generic responsibilities 

Ensure adherence with NRC policies, tools, handbooks and guidelines
Implement delegated CC project portfolio according to plan of action
Prepare and develop status reports as required by management
Ensure proper filing of documents 
Ensure that projects target beneficiaries most in need, and explore and asses new and better ways to assist
Promote and share ideas for technical improvement

Specific responsibilities

Assist in organizing and delivering tasks in line with priorities and standards;
Assist in the development and adapting training and information dissemination materials; 
Contribute to organisational learning through the provision specific technical analysis, lessons learned and reports;
Assist in ensuring that projects target beneficiaries most in need of protection, explore and asses new and better ways of assistance;
Assist in monitoring and reporting on the project activities and ensure compliance with plans and NRC standards;
Ensure proper filing of relevant documents according to procedures;
Assist in the development of status reports, including documentation of project achievements and deliverables; and
Perform any other professional duties as requested by the coordinator and Project Manager.

Professional competencies  

Degree in Law, Political Science, International Relations, or Social Sciences. 
Minimum 2 years of experience in a humanitarian context.  
Demonstrated knowledge of housing, land and property and dispute resolution mechanisms. 
Documented results related to the position’s responsibilities.
Fluency in English, both written and verbal. 

Context related skills, knowledge and experience 

Knowledge of the context in Plateau State. 
Ability to speak Hausa and one additional local language preferred. 
Candidates from Plateau State preferred.
