Human Resources (HR) Assistant Counselor Educator

Main Objective and Responsibility of the Position

Execute administrative, HR and legal related tasks to support the Coordination office following MSF standards and procedures, in order to ensure legal compliance and to realize the HR capacity required to achieve project objectives.

General Accountabilities

Under supervision of the Project HR Manager managing personal files in order to ensure accuracy, compliance and on time payments.
Updating the HR database and personal files to facilitate management of HR processes.
Updating Social security & Tax office files in order to meet legal requirements including specific amendments when necessary in order to ensure local labour and fiscal law compliance
Preparing employment contracts in conformity with legal requirements including specific amendments when necessary in order to ensure local labour and fiscal law compliance.
Preparing monthly pay slips for all staff, editing and updating the necessary data, in order to ensure the punctuality and accuracy of staff payroll.
Following up of all expiring rental contract dates and inform the Administration Manager in order to leave enough time to arrange a renewal or look for some other alternative.
Making all administrative information available to the staff (posting, meetings, etc.), supporting the Project HR Manager in translating documents into local language and assisting in meetings upon request.
Additional HR/ Admin tasks delegated by the Coordination Office.

MSF Section/Context Specific Accountabilities

Manage administration and travel arrangements for all staff travelling from Sokoto to other projects and From Sokoto to Abuja
Update MSF plane booking sheets for all passengers travelling from Sokoto to Abuja
Update Movement sheet and share with radio room for all movements between Sokoto and other projects and Abuja
Arrange accommodation for all staff transiting through Sokoto
Arrange briefings (security and lodging) for all staff transiting through Sokoto
Keep track of per-diem and food pot management for all visitors in Sokoto
Prepare payroll for NERU and responsible for filing all relevant documents
Update EPREP staff pool and ensure information provided is accurate at all times
Supervise office cleaner for the base
Keep track of all bookings of hotel accomodation for visitors in Sokoto (including training bookings)
Support L&D team for all trainings in Sokoto.
Support Coordination team with all other relevant adminsitrative processes.

Qualifications
Education:

Degree in Business Administration or any other related courses.

Experience: 

Essential previous working experience of at least two (2) years in Human Resource.
Desirable experience in MSF or other NGOs in developing countries.

Requirements:

Languages: English Language Essentian and local language desirable.
Knowledge: Essential computer literacy (word, excel, internet); Use of Homere desriable
Competencies: Results and Quality Orientation, Team work and Cooperation, Behavioural Flexibility, Commitment to MSF Principles, Stress Management.
