Human Resource Officer

JOB SUMMARY

The HR Officer will be responsible for managing biometric systems, overseeing overtime schedules, handling recruitment processes, driving employee engagement initiatives, and ensuring accurate management of employee records and databases. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple HR functions efficiently.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist in end-to-end recruitment, from job posting to candidate selection and onboarding.
Schedule and coordinate interviews, ensuring a smooth hiring process.
Prepare and maintain recruitment records, including job descriptions, interview records, and candidate databases.
Support new hire onboarding by ensuring proper documentation and induction sessions.
Plan and implement employee engagement initiatives to improve workplace morale and productivity.
Organize recognition programs, team-building activities, and wellness initiatives.
Gather employee feedback through surveys or informal discussions and report findings to management.
Oversee the biometric attendance system, ensuring accurate employee clock-in/out records.
Generate attendance reports and support payroll processing by providing accurate working hours and overtime data.
Track and validate overtime requests based on company policies.
Coordinate with line managers to ensure proper documentation and approvals for overtime work.
Provide periodic overtime reports for payroll processing and management review.
Maintain and update the HR database with employee records, including personal information, employment history, and performance data.
Ensure proper filing (both digital and physical) of employee documents, contracts, and performance records.
Generate reports and provide HR analytics to support decision-making.
Ensure compliance with data privacy and record-keeping regulations.

JOB REQUIREMENT

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

Work Experience:

1- 2 years of experience in HR roles, preferably in a manufacturing or FMCG environment.

Technical requirements:

Strong knowledge of HRIS, biometric attendance systems, and database management.
Experience in recruitment and employee engagement initiatives.
Good understanding of labor laws and HR compliance.
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
