About the job

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Human Resource and Administrative Manager to oversee the human resources and administrative functions of the Kunie Foundation.
The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing HR strategies, managing administrative operations, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Human Resource Management

Recruitment and Talent Management:

Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
Manage the hiring process, including job postings, interviews, and offers.
Develop and implement talent management programs to support employee growth and development.

Benefits Administration:

Manage employee benefits, including health insurance, pensions, and other benefits.
Communicate benefits information to employees and answer questions.

​​​​​​​Employee Relations:

Develop and implement employee relations strategies to foster a positive work environment.
Manage employee conflicts, grievances, and disciplinary actions.
Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related matters.

​​​​​​​Policy Compliance:

Review and implement HR policies and procedures that comply with relevant laws and regulations.
Ensure compliance with employment laws, regulations, and industry standards.

​​​​​​​Performance Management:

Develop and implement performance management systems to support employee growth and development.
Provide guidance and support to managers on performance management and evaluation.

​​​​​​​Training and Development:

Develop and implement training programs to support employee growth and development.
Provide guidance and support to managers on training and development opportunities.

HR Systems and Data Management:

Manage HR systems, including HRIS, payroll, and benefits administration.
Analyze HR data to inform HR strategies and programs.
Manage HR and administrative budgets, including forecasting, planning, and reporting.

Administrative Management:

Oversee administrative operations, including office management and logistics.
Manage the foundation’s calendar, scheduling appointments, meetings, and events.
Coordinate travel arrangements, accommodations, and expense reports.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, files, and databases.
Keep a journal of organisational activities.
Ensure compliance with administrative policies, procedures, and regulations.

Other Responsibilities:

Provide support to the Executive Director/CEO and other senior staff members.
Collaborate with other departments to achieve foundation goals and objectives.
Participate in budget planning, financial management, and resource allocation.
Ensure confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in HR and administrative management.
Proven track record of success in HR management, recruitment, and talent development.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
Proficiency in HR software, Microsoft Office, and Google Suite.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
