We are seeking a highly experienced and proactive Human Resource Executive to lead and manage core HR operations while overseeing essential administrative functions at Romanspage Global. This role plays a key part in driving people strategy, workforce development, culture, and organizational compliance, while serving as the first point of contact for all employee-related matters.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for recruitment across employment types, payroll processing, employee relations, performance management, asset administration, and process optimization ensuring people and operations work seamlessly together to support our mission.
Job Description
Contribute to workforce planning, succession strategies, and organizational development initiatives.
Provide HR advisory support to the managing director for decision-making and business alignment.
Lead full-cycle recruitment for full-time, contract, and volunteer roles across the organization.
Manage job postings, candidate sourcing, interview coordination, and offer negotiations.
Oversee onboarding, orientation, and probation reviews.
Act as the first line of communication for all employee relations issues and conflict resolution.
Address grievances, manage disciplinary actions, and foster a transparent, respectful workplace.
Conduct performance reviews and implement improvement/action plans.
Champion a work culture of inclusivity, commitment, accountability, productivity, and open communication.
Conduct periodic training needs assessments (TNA) and recommend learning interventions.
Prepare monthly payroll ensuring accuracy in salary calculations, statutory deductions, bonuses, and leave balances.
Maintain and enforce HR policies, ensuring alignment with Nigerian Labour Laws and best practices.
Manage employee contracts, disciplinary procedures, and documentation.
Ensure consistent and ethical handling of confidential employee data.
Digitize and organize employee records, attendance, and performance metrics.
Maintain the company’s asset register, assign work tools, and monitor asset accountability.
Oversee monthly imprest disbursements, reimbursement claims, and supporting documentation.
Support general office administration and facilities coordination.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field
Minimum 3–5 years progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years in a senior/executive-level role.
Strong knowledge of Nigerian labour law, payroll systems, and employee engagement practices.
Proven experience managing both HR and administrative functions in a structured environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR tech tools
High emotional intelligence, confidentiality, integrity, and sound judgment.
