HR Executive

About Role

Africa Prudential is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Executive to support the Human Resources team in executing key HR functions. The HR Executive/Analyst candidate will be responsible for assisting with recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and HR administrative duties.

Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end recruitment process in collaboration with the hiring managers (including job postings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and coordinating candidate assessments)
Support the onboarding and orientation process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the organization.
Maintain and update HR records and databases, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality of employee information.
Assist in administering employee benefits, leave management, and payroll-related documentation.
Support performance management processes, including tracking performance appraisals and employee development initiatives.
Coordinate training programs from collating training needs to identifying training providers to post training evaluation.
Coordinate all HR-related staff engagement activities.
Assist with employee relations by responding to inquiries and escalating concerns as needed.
Ensure compliance with company policies and labor laws, supporting HR audits and regulatory requirements.
Contribute to HR reports, analytics, and process improvements to enhance efficiency.
Perform other HR-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in industrial relations or any related field.
HR Certification from CIPM (is an added advantage)
2 – 3 years’ experience in the HR field
