Job Description
We are hiring an HMO/Billing Officer to support our HMO team in providing financial, administrative, and clerical services, to our HMO Partners.
The ideal candidate should have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, a continuous improvement mindset, and a proactive approach to supporting the team.
Responsibilities
Ensure all monthly invoices are dispatched before the commencement of subsequent billing cycle.
To assist with dispensing drugs and ensure that there are no errors
Ensure accurate record keeping of enrollees, drugs dispensed, and prices
Prepare customer/patient invoices for sales and services rendered by the organization.
Ensure effective customer service for both internal and external customers
Ensure that all invoices that exit the facility have a form of acknowledgment, either in hard copies, soft copies, or documented phone agreements
Uploading and Coding of all Invoices/Claims required by Clients in claims processing and submission.
To interact with the HMO community.
Assist with sourcing and onboarding new HMO Partners
Assist with special projects and initiatives as assigned by the HMO Team Lead.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess Bachelor’s Degrees in Pharmacology, Health Information Science, Business Administration, Management Courses
1 – 2 years similar experience in the healthcare sector.
Attentive to details and a continuous improvement mindset.
