Health, Safety, and Environment Officer (HSE) Division Head, Operations & Information Technology

Job Description 

We are seeking a highly skilled Health, Safety, and Environment Officer (HSE) to join our team in ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards across our construction projects.

Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and monitor health and safety policies, procedures, and programs.
Conduct risk assessments and hazard identification.
Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
Investigate incidents/accidents and develop corrective action plans.
Provide training and awareness programs for employees and subcontractors.
Develop and implement environmental management plans.
Monitor and report environmental performance.
Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and standards.
Conduct environmental audits and risk assessments.
Maintain accurate records of HSE incidents, inspections, and training.
Prepare and submit HSE reports to management and regulatory bodies.
Coordinate with external stakeholders (regulatory agencies, contractors, etc.).

Requirements

Requirements and Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Sciences, or a related field.
Proven 5 years of professional and project experience in the construction industry.
Experience in industrial settings with a focus on HSE work.
Proficient in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Strong analytical and reporting skills.
NEBOSH or OSHA certification (or equivalent).
Other relevant HSE certifications (e.g., ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001).
License of professional HSE practitioner.
