Job Summary
The HSE Officer is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing health, safety, and environmental policies to ensure a safe workplace.
This role involves conducting risk assessments, training employees, and ensuring compliance with local and international safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and enforce HSE policies and procedures.
Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments.
Organize training sessions on health and safety practices.
Investigate accidents and incidents to identify root causes.
Ensure compliance with all relevant HSE regulations and standards.
Maintain records of safety-related incidents and propose preventive measures.
Collaborate with management to promote a culture of safety.
Liaise with regulatory bodies regarding HSE matters.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field.
Professional certification in HSE (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) is preferred.
At least 3 years experience in a similar role within the manufacturing sector.
In-depth knowledge of HSE regulations and best practices.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
