Details:Are you an experienced sales/Business development Executive seeking a new challenge? Would you like to work for a rapidly expanding global e commerce organization? We are looking for head of sales/business development executive to join our office in Nigeria. The Head, Business Development, Sales & Growth will manage the strategic and tactical direction of our sales efforts to drive growth targets through strategic partnerships, data-driven marketing, demand generation campaigns and product positioning.Duties and responsibilities
Lead strategic decision making related to developing new partnerships and manage existing partnerships with other organizations and stakeholders.
Build strategic relationships and partner with key industry players, agencies and vendors
Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs.
Actively seek out new sellers/buyers to sign on through cold calling, networking and social media.
Set up meetings with potential clients and listen to their wishes and concerns.
Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products/ services.
On-board new sellers/buyers to the platform
Prepare periodic reports with sales and financial data.
Negotiate/sign-on clients and handle complaints or objections.
Participate in formal and informal sales strategy development with team members.
Provide feedback on clients issues to line manager and team members to help improve efficiency.
Collaborate with the Marketing team to develop strategies to improve overall sales figures.
Overseeing implementation of marketing strategy – including campaigns, events, digital marketing, and PR.
Working closely with the Sales team; enabling them to meet their commercial objectives by providing them with appropriate tools, materials and presentations.
Guiding day to day activities of marketing team.
Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies
Identify new areas of e-Commerce opportunity beyond current organizational thinking for increasing sales
Requirements, Competencies And Skills
Revenue focused and has a broad skill set drawing from sales, marketing, operations, and business analytics
Strong and disciplined project management and process improvement capabilities
Exceptional work ethic, strategic vision, organizational skills and the ability to deliver results
Excellent relationship management skills with ability to build rapport influence and deepen relationships with stakeholders, especially with Sales
Entrepreneurial mind, result driven, and passionate
Excellent communication skills
Good taste, a sense of aesthetics and a love for great copy and witty communication
Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement
