Job Description

Monitor the operator’s activities to ensure compliance with contractual obligations, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to process safety, carbon emissions, operating costs, and production efficiency. 
Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify potential safety hazards and recommend corrective actions.
Analyze operational cost data to identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
Monitor production data to ensure that output meets or exceeds planned targets.
Collaborate with the operator to identify and implement production optimization strategies, including equipment upgrades, process improvements, and enhanced recovery techniques.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Petroleum Management, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
Minimum of 15 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, with at least 5 years in a supervisory capacity.
Proven experience in managing non-operated assets or working closely with operators in a similar capacity.
Strong understanding of process safety management, carbon emissions reduction strategies, and production optimization techniques.
Familiarity with the regulatory environment in Nigeria and the Niger Delta region.
Ability to work effectively in a complex, fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders.
