Forecasting projected business and establishing targeted market share.
Identifying marketing opportunities by recognizing consumer requirements; defining market, competitor’s share, and competitor’s strengths and weaknesses;
To achieve satisfactory profit/loss ratio and market share in relation to preset standards, industry and economic trends.
To establish a system of reports and communications for all information from the marketing team to the sales team and for feedback and request from the sales team to the marketing team.
To Improves product marketability and profitability by researching, identifying, and capitalizing on market opportunities; improving product packaging and coordinating new product development.
Prepare periodic sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion.
To accomplish marketing and sales objectives by planning, developing, implementing, evaluating, advertising, trade promotion programs and developing field sales action plans.
Directs market channel development activity and coordinates sales distribution by establishing sales territories, quotas, and goals
To establish and maintain relationships with industry influencers and key strategic partners.
To sustain rapport with key customers by making periodic visits; exploring specific needs; anticipating new opportunities.
Ensures effective control of marketing results, and takes corrective action to guarantee that achievement of marketing objectives falls within designated budgets.
To achieve marketing and sales operational objectives by contributing marketing and sales information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews;
Preparing and completing action plans; aiding productivity, quality, and customer-service standards and resolving problems among marketing and sales team.
To organize and direct marketing and strategy meetings on a regular basis whereby the strategy and promotion programmes are reviewed.
Qualifications
HND/BSc in Marketing or a related field
Master’s degree will also be an added advantage.
Must possess relevant professional qualifications/affiliations.
Knowledge and experience in Sales Force Automation IS A MUST.
At least 7-10 years Marketing and Sales experience with 7years in a managerial position
