Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, Business administration or any related field from a reputable tertiary institution.
At least 8 years’ experience in venture capital, Agriculture, investment management, or commodity trading, trading operations and risk management.
Excellent financial modelling, analytical and strategic thinking skills
Proven Leadership experience in a high-growth or startup environment with strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Job Description
The job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Establish the operational framework for the commodity trading company, including regulatory compliance, strategic positioning, and initial market entry.
Recruit and lead a team Of top-tier professionals, creating a cohesive and high-performing management structure to deliver on business objectives.
Identify and secure funding sources, including venture capital, private equity, institutional investors and debt financing.
Establish the operational framework for the commodity trading company, including regulatory compliance, strategic positioning, and initial market entry.
Implement strategies that foster equity growth, ensuring becomes a profitable and sustainable enterprise.
Prepare monthly Risk Management & Compliance reports.
