Description:Essential Job Functions

Timely submission of monthly management returns/reports Preparation and review of monthly bank reconciliation statements
Review of intra-company’s intra-branches current accounts
Efficient documentation of source documents
Proper coordination and Training and Development of Account staff: Organising Staff Training and proper guidance on the job.
Prompt response to statutory issues e.g. Tax, Pension etc
Ensure and oversee correctness of account postings and Accounting software.

Working Experience:Candidates must have a minimum of 10 years working experience as a chartered accountant, out of which 4 years must be at senior management level in a group of companies; experience in the agriculture or manufacturing sector will be an added advantage. Personality Profile:

Candidate must be able to lead the accounting teams across 5 different businesses and over all the geopolitical zones of the country.
Candidate must have a high confidence level to interact and engage with business and industry leaders across the country.
Candidate should be a teacher, coach and mentor to his team, with good communication and presentation skills.
Only matured candidates of not less than 40 years need apply.

ICT Competencies:

Ability to efforts less use and transfer knowledge of accounting packages particularly Tally Accounting Software will be an added advantage. 
Advanced knowledge of MSoft Office Packages.
