Head National Distribution

Job Responsibilities: 

Develop and implement the national distribution strategy for the luxury perfume brand, ensuring alignment with the company’s growth objectives across Nigeria. 
Lead the expansion of the distribution network, identifying and establishing relationships with key distributors, retail partners, and high-end department stores nationwide. 
Manage and oversee all national distribution operations, ensuring efficiency in logistics, inventory management, and timely product availability. 
Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activity, and consumer behavior to optimize distribution strategies and increase brand penetration in key markets. 
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including wholesalers, retailers, and key account managers, ensuring high standards of service and collaboration. 
Negotiate contracts and agreements with distribution partners to ensure favorable terms and alignment with brand positioning. 
Oversee the performance of the distribution network, ensuring that targets for sales growth, market share, and profitability are met or exceeded. 
Work closely with the marketing and sales teams to ensure coordinated brand messaging, promotions, and activations at all distribution points. 
Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for the distribution team and partners, ensuring accountability and performance excellence. 
Provide regular reports to senior management on distribution performance, sales metrics, and market opportunities for the luxury perfume brand. 

Job Requirements: 

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in sales, distribution, or retail management, within the luxury goods or FMCG sectors. 
Proven track record of managing and growing national distribution networks, preferably in luxury, beauty, or consumer goods markets. 
Strong understanding of the Nigerian retail landscape, including key market dynamics, trends, and distribution challenges in the luxury sector. 
Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build long-term relationships with high-level stakeholders. 
Demonstrated ability to drive business growth, achieve sales targets, and manage complex distribution operations.
