Job Description
Develop and manage the HR strategy for the School; the strategy must cover the key HR functions; Recruitment, Performance management, Talent management, Training & Development, Employee relations, HRIS, Compensation Management etc.
Develop and manage HR/Administration department budget
Lead key, major HR projects to deliver specific objectives and strategic changes in the school
Initiate and implement talent management initiatives
Drive the promotion of organizational culture that supports the School’s vision and high productivity
Lead and champion communication across departments by initiating heads of functions meetings from time to time
Conduct annual manpower planning including career development and personnel audit
Develop modern core HR policies in response to and addressing business needs of the school and legal compliance requirements
Responsible for managing and improving performance management system
Oversee the activities of service providers; HMO, pensions, insurances etc and constantly evaluate their performance
Generate reports from time to time on various HR activities/ innovation
Develop policies and procedures that deal with HR issues
Monitor the school wide objective setting process
Provide advice and case management support in areas of grievance and discipline
Develop and maintain excellent management information and HR systems e.g. ESS and premier HR to provide up to date information to aid management decision
