Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Insurance, Actuarial Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
Strong understanding of the principle of Islamic Insurance (Takaful)
Professional insurance qualifications, such as ACII, FCII, or equivalent.
Minimum 15 years of experience in the insurance industry, with at least IO years in a technical insurance role.
Proven experience in leading a team of technical insurance professionals.
Experience in general insurance product development, underwriting, and claims management.
Strong business acumen and commercial awareness.
Strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Description
Provide technical guidance and expertise on general insurance products, including policy wordings, endorsements, and claims.
Develop and implement the general technical insurance strategy, aligning with the company’s overall business objectives.
Lead, motivate, and develop a team of technical insurance professionals, ensuring they have the necessary skills and expertise to perform their roles.
Oversee the underwriting process, ensuring that risks are properly assessed, and premiums are adequately priced.
Ensure that claims are handled efficiently, fairly, and in accordance with regulatory requirements.
Ensure that the company’s general insurance operations comply with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with general insurance products and operations.
Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including reinsurers, brokers, and regulatory authorities.
